He knows all

With him are the keys to the things beyond a created being’s perception, The treasure that none knows but He.

With him are the keys to the things beyond a created being’s perception,
The treasure that none knows but He.

He knows all that is on land and in the sea.

Not a leaf falls, but He knows it;

There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth,
nor anything fresh or withered but it is recorded in (His) clear decree..

It is He who takes your souls by night,
And has knowledge of all that you did during the day;

By the day, He raises you up again,
That the time span appointed to you may be fulfilled.

In the end, you will return to Him;
Then He will show you the truth of all that you did.

He is irresistible,
(Watching) from above over His servants;

And He spends forth-heavenly forces to watch over you.
Until, when death approaches of you,

Our angels will take his soul,
And they never overlook (anyone).

Then are people returned to God,
Their protector, the Reality.

Is not His the command?

And He is the most swift in taking accounts.

Say: ‘Who is it that delivers you from dark recesses of land and sea,
When you call upon Him humbly, and in the secrecy of your hearts:

‘If only He delivers us from these (distresses),
We shall most certainly show our gratitude”.

Say: ‘It is Allah who can deliver you from these and all distresses;
And yet (some of) you still ascribe divinity to other powers beside Him!
