Role of Individual in Global Peace
Some persons hold the view that global peace is a job of work best attended to only by heads of nations, governments and organizations. This views does not take into account the simple fact that the world consist of only the individual of all mankind.

Italian Philosopher
Benedetto Croce rightly stressed that “the only concrete universal is the individual.” The significant role of the individual is brought about by the interesting story of how important politician of the world once met and discussed several ways of creating a grand and noticeable event. Finally they decided that at a particular time, on a specific day of a specific month, every individual politician would utter the word ‘boom boom’ for a full minute, so that they would produce in unison the greatest noise in all history!!
As the greatest moment approached, each politician thought it would not matter much if he did not say ‘boom boom’ since anyway all the others would do so, as planned. As a result, the greatest event became one of the most silent moments in all history!
